Meet team at The Mews Clifton
Gail Crispin – Director
Gail has had an obsession, passion and love affair with fashion and all beautiful object d’art since her early teens, making lots of her early wardrobe using fine silks, suede and heavy tweeds. When Gail opened The Mews in 2007 in a quaint ‘mews style’ building in Clifton Village, her aim was to create the most exquisite bridal boutique in the South West. Combining her creative flair with her experience and knowledge of unparalleled customer care, Gail ensured that The Mews offers the highest standard of British bridal couture giving the stylish discerning bride of today a wonderfully memorable experience. Gail takes great pleasure in offering private and exclusive champagne consultations as she gets to know about every bride’s wedding day and help them find the dress that they will glide down the aisle in. Gail is now proud to be at the forefront of one of the top luxury bridal boutiques in the United Kingdom.
Rebecca – Manager and Bridal Stylist
Rebecca joined The Mews team in 2011. After studying fashion design at university, Rebecca won an internship with a top British bridal designer who ultimately influenced her to progress into a career surrounded by equally beautiful dresses. Her knowledge of pattern cutting, fit and style contributes to the expertise in our team. Rebecca is able to give brides the professional advice they deserve in order to have confidence in choosing the right wedding dress for them. “Your wedding dress should feel right on three levels: venue, style and personality. It should simply feel an extension of yourself – a dress that you just don’t want to take off!”
Kathy – Assistant Manager and Bridal Stylist
Kathy joined The Mews in 2014. She studied a BA Honors degree in Footwear Design at the prestigious London College of Fashion and based her final collection on luxury bridal footwear. She has worked in the luxury bridal industry for 6 years so has a true passion for bridal wear and loves the personal experience she has with each bride.
Kimberley – Stylist
Kimberley has been with The Mews since September 2012. Her fashion degree at the University of the West of England incorporated design, construction of tailored garments and pattern cutting. “The Mews has opened my eyes to the world of bridal designers, in particular Suzanne Neville and Stephanie Allin. I love the appointment process that personalises every bride’s experience here and makes the lead up to their occasion just as exciting and special as the wedding day itself.”
